chicago air quality update

Please read before today's session. Your health and performance come first.

Good morning athletes!

Chicago is under an Air Quality Alert today due to smoke from the Canadian wildfires.

We take air quality seriously. Our spaces are equipped with commercial-grade air purification systems that continuously filter fine particulate matter (PM2.5), helping maintain cleaner indoor air. While this significantly improves indoor air quality, no indoor environment can completely eliminate outdoor exposure.

If your breathing feels different than usual, your heart rate is elevated but at a slower pace, or today's workout feels harder than expected, reduce your intensity, take longer to recover, or modify the session as needed. Training intelligently means adapting to your environment, not pushing through it.

Some athletes may continue to feel these effects for several days, even after air quality improves. Continue to listen to your body throughout the week and let your coach know if you need additional modifications.

Listening to your body is part of our training.
